Indeed, but watch how the babus here screw it up by insisting on early closing times.

Delhi/Noida, places stay open till 3AM, the booze is half the price. Don't recall them having any problems with necesarily elevated crime as was given the reason to close up early here in Bangalore. Hard to believe but Noida might be approaching top spot for night life in India. What's infuriating is Bangalore has always had these freedoms until recently that too with the weather being a damn sight better than anywhere else.

Its a miracle Digweed managed to come to Bangalore, that too he was playing in some far off joint beyond the city limits.

^ Its good as long as we are out of bangalore city limits. Its city cops who create problems. Ali Azmat almost threw his guitar at IIMB fest coz they asked to stop show at 11 and damn they were sharp on time :(
