paypal queries.

Hi all,
I have two queries mainly.
a. What is the cost if I want to open a Paypal account ?
b. What sort of transactions I need to do minimum to keep the account active ? For e.g. in banks even checking your balance or keeping the pass-book updated or doing a small transaction once in six months is enough to keep the a/c active. Anything similar in paypal ?

1. No costs to open an account, though you need to provide them your PAN card number.

2. No balance is kept in Paypal accounts. Every penny is auto-withdrawn to your bank account at the end of the day, and this is done of comply with the Indian government guidelines. Also, you cannot deposit elsewhere using your Paypal balance; you can only receive money to your account via third parties.

I think they only deactivate the account if you haven't logged in to their website for a very long time; not sure about this. Read their FAQ section.

Hey guys I have a corporation Bank international Debit card. Was able to successfully add it to the paypal account and a small balance was also deducted by paypal. But now when I try to make payment I have the actual problem.

Can any one help me on this?
