Paytm Wallet Hacked and emptied . Options ?

There are umpteen links on PayTM facebook page looking like paytm link involved in wallet credential theft. PayTM unfortunately doing little to prevent or block these people. They do not have any mechanism like transaction password or OTP to provide additional safety. Many people are losing their money from their wallet.

I have called up Paytm , emailed them at care@paytm.com and cybercell@paytm.com . They have given me ticket number but what are my options ? Paytm CC said that they have IP address and Paytm Cybercell will check it
Another thing that password was not changed and i haven't told it anybody nor somebody else has used my laptop or mobile . The number still with me so ...The password was same what i had put even after hack and now i have changed it
I tried calling the Airtel Mobile 9521458363 but not picking up .
Paytm CC was not at all surprised on hearing it and didn't ask even a question . Just said to email Paytm CC . Their wallet transfer has been stopped for upgrade for some time now , hope their database didn't get hacked or Paytm staff member might have only done it .
Dont know .....
So what to do ???

yeah i tried it to..i have posted my whole issue in Paytm fb page..bt they are saying that the login was done from ur side and one's the transaction is done they can't refund my money...even i argued abut there security service...bt they told me they r working on the update..

by the way what is ur actual name...so that i can find u on fb and we both can fight together on this issue on paytm fb page.

What can they do with that balance now ? they can't redeem it in any way.

This is like robbing a bank and leaving their contact details at the scene of the crime (!)

If you work in an office, offer to pay your colleague's bills/recharges via PayTM. 4000 will get spent within a month.

When you guys pay via CC, do you guys use a Virtual Credit Card or the actual card number?
With the increase in hacks and all, I just dont trust anyone. Most of the times I use a VCC but sometimes when I am in a hurry, have used my physical CC also.

Just last week, my colleague's CC got swiped at a physical store in Bangalore. He stays in Kolkata. He called up his bank and got his card cancelled. According to him, he has never used his credit card at any physical store yet. He has only used it till now to pay for home delivery of food and for online recharges!

Same thing happened with me once. My card was used to shop in Europe when I was sleeping here in India. It was used for £1200+ and I was freaked out after checking the transactions messages. Still can't forget that!

@OP you should contact Paytm on Twitter.
