CPU/Mobo pc automatically shutdown

hi ... my comp has been showing he un usual prob from the few days...
IT AUTOMATICALLY SHUT DOWN AND WHEN IT RESATARTS IT SHOWS THE ERROrr " BOOK DISKETTE FAILURE PLZ INSERT BOOT DISK ":huh: :huh: :huh: :huh:

WHAT THE PROB WOULD BE..????:( :( :( :( :(

isnt that hard disk crashing ?? bcz i too many time compies the data from the others computers but not diattached my hard disk..
 
Try to remove the IDE cable from the HDD and clean it with an air blower. Then, reconnect it.
One of mah friend had this prob, his bios didn't detect his HDD, so he removed the IDE cable, blew air into it with his mouth for cleaning it, and reconnected it. Voila! It starts perfectly. But, during course of time, this problem became more prominent.
So, he got new IDE cables and hasn't been facing this problem since then. :D
 
Yeah just change the cables.
Computers are really wierd. One of the solutions that worked for me whenever I got this error was, I completely unplugged the power cable from UPS for a minute and then after reconnecting it just worked. Maybe some charge problem.
 
This problem it mainly coz of IDE cable .... sometimes due to molex connectors .... lose molex connectors also start giving troble so clean them both .....
