49.61

I AM NOW PUTTING IN SOME CPU + MOTHERBOARD COMBOS WHICH I GUESS ARE THE MOST RECOMMENDED STUFF HERE ON TE. considering mobo and cpu are priority and graphics is not.

budget 7k - amd 3600x2 + jetway/gigabyte 690g based mother board - onboard graphics included.

budget 10k - e4300 + msi neo2 ( decent oc , no onboard gpu )

budget 10k - amd 4800x2 + jetway / gigabyte 690g ( onboard gpu , jetways a decent overclocker , gigabyte i dont think so, at stock speeds better than intel counter part at same price point on a avg.)

budget 12 k - e4300 + xfx ultra 650i / asus p5ne sli ( latter being more expensive but the xfx having availability issues as of now at some places which i guess will be solved soon) (no onboard gpu) incase a gpu is must one must get the the neo2 + a 7100gs in the budget.

budget 20k - e6600 + xfx 680i ultra / p5b dlx (no onboard gpu) some one planning gpu in same range rather get the e6600 + xfx 650 ultra + 7300gs.

THE 60K RIG OPTIONS
The 60 k Gamers + Performance Without LCD . I have taken a very controversial cabinet The Amigo mentioned is a 3k server cabinet that i saw which i think is very spacious and a good buy for its price. though one can get other good options in the 3k segment also.

Intel E6600 10.2 k
XFX 650i 6 k
2gb Kingston / Corsair value ram 4 k
Seagate 250 Gb HDD Sata II 3 k
XFX 8800 GTS 18.3 k
17 “ CRT Samsung / Lg 4.5 k
Amigo Server Cabinet + CoolerMaster extreme 600w 6.6 k
Dvd rw Lg h42n / Liteon 20x 1.65 k
Philps 2.1 / ATP3 2.5 k
Samsung Pleomax .21 k
Logitech Optical .35 k
APC 600VA 3 k

total 60.31
The 60k rig with LCD + moderate gaming needs + better processor + good sound

Intel E6600 10.2 k
XFX 650i 6 k
2gb Kingston / Corsair value ram 4 k
Seagate 400 Gb HDD Sata II 4.8 k
POV 8600 GT 9 k
19" Viewsonic / Benq/ LG 11 k
Zebronics + CoolerMaster extreme 600w 4.6 k
Dvd rw Lg h42n / Liteon 20x 1.65 k
Logitech X530 5.5 k
Samsung Pleomax .21 k
Logitech Optical .35 k
APC 600VA 3 k

TOTAL DAMAGE 60.31 K

The Gamers RIG with LCD + moderate processor with great OC abilities.

Intel E4300 5 k
XFX 650i 6 k
2gb Kingston / Corsair value ram 4 k
Seagate 250 Gb HDD Sata II 3 k
XFX 8800 GTX 18.3 k
19" Viewsonic / Benq/ LG 11 k
Amigo Server Cabinet +
CoolerMaster extreme 600w 6.6 k
Dvd rw Lg h42n / Liteon 20x 1.65 k
ATP3 / Philps 2.1 2.5 k
Samsung Pleomax .21 k
Logitech Optical .35 k
APC 600VA 3 k

total 61.61

if one is strict about the price to be 60k one could get a smaller lcd or drop to a smaller ups or not buy one for the time being.

THE 75K BUDGET PC

Things are getting more confusing now and there are a lot of possible options one can go for, the higher the budget the more gadgets you can fit in. I will still try and divide them into PERFORMANCE / ENTERTAINMENT / GAMING.

There are many other options possible in the same price , eg one can opt from memeoryc for better ram and compromise on the display hdd as to how one wants to set his priorities.

THE 1 lac BIG small BUDGET PC – there are many other options possible may be better than what I have laying down below.

very nice... though i would debate the e4300 on a 50k PC :p great work... repped :)

i thought some one will tell me this but even with that e4300 once can almost reach stock performance of the e6600 without much of a problem @ stock cooling, i just posted my experience if Over clocking the E4300 . i wanted the 50k rig to be a balance of GAMES + ENTERTAINMENT + SPEED. :D

any idea of amigo website or can we get the info on their products. overall great work this will be helpfull for all those first timers who want to create a rig for themselves as per their budget.

mod pls this must be made into a sticky.

do you have some pointers to "xfx 680i ultra"?

Thats what you wrote.

Does that mean that the dell 24" can't handle the 640MB card?

crazyshah - it will handle it easily.

i have put it on with the prospects to the budget being withing 75 k and around that.
