OC & Modding PC Cabinet - Powder coat - bangalore - where?

Haddock

Adept
Hi guys, I want to Powder Coat my 2007 Zebronics Antibiotic cabinet.

Both outside & inside to black matte finish.

Also two 26" Aluminium pieces with same colour :D

Can you guys point out a reputed + economical + quality powder coater at Bangalore :)

And, before the powder coating, i want to cut a metal piece behind the CPU, for CPU removal w/o taking out motherboard (like latest cabby's), where to get that done from? :D

Got it done sometime back from one guy in Bamboo Bazaar, near to Coles park/Shivajinagar. But remember these guys do not clean the cabby or anything. So you have to do all the prep work yourself. Cutting of the back hole, i dont know.

BTW, if you dont clean the cabby properly, then be prepared to have a screwed up job, with lots of bubbles.

you got your already awesome cabby powder coated? :O why? :p

anyways, thats an awesome cabby+mod you got. ;)

how much did it cost for you (powder coat)?

btw, my cabby is fine, only few scratches on top, thanks to my bros, they used to put notebooks/dvds/other plastic craps on top.

now it sits at knee level in PC table :p

I'm more interested about the inside for powder coating.

what did you mean by cleaning?
remove present coat?
i thought, the shop waala will sand blast clean 'em.
at first i was thinking about removing the HDD bays & reinstall them in transverse position, but the cabby's width itself is around 7inches only. :(

^get it sanblasted first or take a sand paper and remove the first coat.
As iyengar suggested lots of ppl do powdercoating around Bangalore (south?)
If you need a specific address pm me....

Cost: 500Rs-1000Rs including sandblasting etc
Specialized treatment will cost double of that.

And of course there is airbrushing which will cost 5k+

Cutting holes:
1.LASER cutting:2k+....superb precesion
2.holesaw/drill....DIY
3.take the cabinet to an engineering workshop(Industrial areas)...they can punch holes or use a chisel.

my stacker interiors is powdercoated....chk out FS threads here or E forum gallery
