Hello Friends,

I'm looking to buy new system & with help of TE Hardware Master (Thanks to DarkAngel) I finalized system configuration (Question as per TE template are at end of this Post) but stuck at Cabinet Selection. Please go through following & suggest your best.

Cabinet Budget (with out PSU) 2.5k (+/- 500)

System will be placed in area with Heavy Traffic & Business Place, so too much dust/pollution in environment. Also room is not Air-conditioned so need to keep doors/windows open maximum time hence dust easily enters in to room.

Do NOT like fancy front (like NZXT Gamma front), side transparent, top with MACRO hole grill. But at same time front, right, left, grill with MICRO perforation type holes is ok.

I think it's rally hard to find cabinet I'm looking but hence TE have vast hardware enthusiasts members from each part of country & so your real life experience & window shopping may help me lot to find cabinet suitable to my needs.

I don't mind to go with iBall.in, www.entercircle.com for Circle Brand. If any of you has good experience with please post here.

PS: Does upper side grill (exactly on upper side of PSU) is really so helpful to keep system cool, cause, with most of cabinets I found same.

Thanks for your inputs.

CPU (minimum 3 GHz)- Intel Core i5 2400 ~ 9.1k

Motherboard - Intel DH67BL (B3) ~ 5.1k (Has 4 DDR3 RAM slots , 2 USB 3.0, 2 SATAIII ports, HDMI)

RAM - 2*2GB Corsair 1333MHz Value RAM ~ 1.9k

HDD - 1TB Seagate 7200.12 ~ 2.75k

Optical Drive- LG ~ 0.95k

Cabinet - NZXT Gamma ~ 2.2k :( :S

Power Supply ~ Corsair CX400/SeaSonic S12II 430 ~ 2.6k/3 k

Total: 24.6k/25k

This would serve you well. This is a overkill for your needs but since you needs for a loooonnnng time i guess its ok ;) The Intel processors integrated graphics is more than enough for 1080p Full HD videos and the games that you play.

Regards :)

Zebronics bijli--Rs1600/-

Buy some dust filters and add them to the fans.

PS:It probably comes with a PSU fitted.Just ask them to remove the PSU and give some discount.

Thanks friend, but don't like the led fan.

The NZXT Gamma + Gigabyte Superb 460W should be a good combo for you.

NZXT Beta Evo
Where did you see the NZXT Beta EVO and pricing?

^ he doesn't like nzxt gamma front.

@emperor, have a look at cooler master cabinets. i was thinking of mentioning silverstone micro atx cabinet, since they fit your requirements but they cost upwards of 5.5k. they come with a 300w psu too.

edit: how about this Antec 200- http://www.theitdepot.com/details-Antec+Two+Hundred+Mid-Tower+Gaming+Cabinet_C5P7136.html

6pack but the Antec 200 has only got 2 fans and they are on top and back,no front or side fan, will it be enough to handle the cooling or the OP needs to install a front side fan too.

^ you're right. he will have to install a front 120mm too.

The Nzxt beta evo looks good too. but pricier at almost 3k.

On a side note, @TS, since you'll be buying from Lamington, why not have a look at the Lancool Dragonlord series at ITwares shop. You might have to increase your budget a lot though. But you will definitely like one of those cabinets.

Hi 6pack,Ameet & Alpha17,

Really not likes fancy shape, led light etc. Can buy up to 3k max.

Evo's fancy shape attracts more dust & everyday in evening & morning I do not want to spend 15-20 minutes to clean dust from each & every corners to keep it clean. So cabinet with plain surface is good for me.

How about Cooler Master Cabinets like Elite 310 & 330?

what I'm looking in cabinet is good metal sheet (no rust in long term ie 6-8 years life) & good Power Button with longest life cycle.

Thanks for suggestions

^^ Go for the Cooler Master eLite 310 its simple and good for you, but the front face will gather fingerprints @lightspeed due to piano finish, so if you can live with that its the best quality you can get in budget. Though I reiterate think about the NZXT Gamma which has none of these flaws and comes with a dust filter covered front intake point for a 120mm fan.

In the end your choice.

I respect your view & suggestion about NZXT Gamma, but at same time I can't over look my room condition as dust is major problem.

Is CM cabinets are with good build quality?

The build quality of the Cooler Master eLite is better than Zebronics / iBall cabinets but still has some sharp nicks in the construct (so cuts spoiler) also front facade as I've already warned accumulates dust and finger-prints very readily due to piano finish, rest it does a decent job.

Get the NZXT source elite if you dont like fancy looks... Plain simple cabinet with everything for good cable management...I am not sure of the pricing, but I think it would be round 2500/- mark

NZXT Source 210 Elite

Else NZXT beta evo for 2700/-

Coolermaster Elite 430 without transparent side panel is also great...
