Hello Every one.
I am planning to buy a mid range pc, for low-mid range gaming and more of downloading, internet surfing & photoshopping. My budget is approx 15-20K (Not including monitor, keyboard, mouse).
After lots of searching i narrowed down to following config
Processor: Core 2 Duo 3.33 GHz E8600 (6MB L2 cache 1333MHz)
RAM: Corsair 2 GB (2 x 1 GB) 800 MHz DDR 2
Hard Disk: Seagate 500 GB Sata 2
Cabinet: Zebronics Bijli
SMPS: ??? Is it Needed?
Cooling: ??? Is it Needed?
GPU: Not Needed.
DVD Drive: Sony DVD Writer 20x
But i am not able to narrow down to the motherboard. I prefer to buy gigabyte motherboard. But i am confused as to which one should i take. I want the mother board to have following things
1. Support DDR2 and DDR3 (DDR3 is very expensive now, so i will stay with DDR2, but later will move to DDR3 when it is cheap).
2. I don't need overclocking if i can get better performance on a normal Mobo.
3. Should support till at least Intel Quad Core for future upgrades (i will upgrade to better one when i have more money ).
I checked the gigabyte site and i think following chipsets will be in my budget
Intel® P35 Express Chipset
Intel® G45 Express Chipset
Intel® G43 Express Chipset
Intel® G33 Express Chipset
Please suggest me which mobo should i go for? Or can any one suggest me any better options?
