^^^^ Please give your valuable suggestion guys,

What more do u require dude??? :S

Seems its kinda finalised???

Abit IP35 E;

The E7200 or the E8400 and a TR Ultima or the likes; Slap a 120mm fan and u're good to go; :)

Buy the Samsung SH203D drive; around 1.1k;

The WD640 AAKS; cheaper and more VFM than the 500GB Samsung and the new rev is more better than the first batch;

The VX450 with the Bijli [more spacious];

Ok then....

what about GPU and monitor....?

and cooling...?

BTW how much is the cache memory of WD 640....? Seagate is 32mb..I know.

cache doesnt matter. the 640 is faster. so get it.

get either the LG or the Dell. neither will disappoint you.

and like has already been suggested, get a radeon3650

If you'r sure that you wanna plonk money on a cooler, get the ACFreezerPro7 at the low end.. costs something like 1.5-1.7k.. at the higher end you could get a TRUE or a Xigmatek S1238 for around 2.5-2.6k.. the cooler prices are via kmd.

I actually went through NIKHIL's thread....I've few doubts....

1. why E7200 is recommended to him?

2. can someone provide the details about E7200....

3. What is the difference between E7200 and E8400..?

4. among LG 22WTQ (13k), Dell E228WFP (14.3k) and Dell SP2208WFP (16.5k), which is best in terms of colour response leaving other features..?

5. what are the advantages of costlier Dell one's..? What is HDMI..?

6. If cache doesn't matter, then what makes WD640GB faster than Seagate500GB..?

7. Which is better.. Bijli/Elite334

8. Price of 3650.... Equivalent Nvidea....?

pardon the long list of queries....

1. why E7200 is recommended to him?

Cause he will be overclocking.
2. can someone provide the details about E7200....
Yes. Welcome to Intel

3. What is the difference between E7200 and E8400..?
E8400 is faster.

4. among LG 22WTQ (13k), Dell E228WFP (14.3k) and Dell SP2208WFP (16.5k), which is best in terms of colour response leaving other features..?
Don't know.

5. what are the advantages of costlier Dell one's..?
Advantage for dell is that they make more profit. Advantage for us is that you'll be left with less money, so won't bother us for a long time regarding upgrades. Advantage for you.....err..well 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

What is HDMI..?
Something you won't be using.

6. If cache doesn't matter, then what makes WD640GB faster than Seagate500GB..?
The fact that it can move your files around quicker.
7. Which is better.. Bijli/Elite334
Bijli
8. Price of 3650.... Equivalent Nvidea....?
a) Don't know. b) Don't care.

pardon the long list of queries....
Have you heard the story from mahabharat about the dude who got pardoned a 100 times and got his head was chopped off on the 101th mistake?

^^ never expected something like that from you....so harsh....

and you know 50k may not be a big thing for somebody so he can go and buy whatever he wants....

but for someone like me who is sparing his money out of a years saving, building his first ever rig, won't be upgrading for 2-3 years, is a damn big thing....
So surely will have lot of confusions even if right components have been told to him....

and I've already finalised few things....

M/B : Abit IP35-E
RAM : G.Skill 2GB 800MHz
DVD-RW : Samsung SH203
Case : Bijli....Was confused with elite since it's CM and at almost same price....
PSU : VX450
keyboard : Pleomax
mouse : MX518
Speakers : MX5021
UPS : APC 650VA

now left are :

CPU : was sure about E8400....but after NIKHIL's thread got confused with E7200....as it's much cheaper too ....
also it was mentioned there that both have same stock speed.....

HDD : was sure about Seagate 500GB 32MB cache....4k....
But since WD 640GB is 4.6k....got confused again....so asked how WD is faster..?

GPU : recommended 3650....don't want a costlier one....any mid-end Nvidea is good for me since I don't game much....

Monitor : Want something which is good at colour response.... Since I won't be using HDMI as you said.... So I thought if LG is good at colour I'll get this since it is cheaper than Dell....else will buy Dell only....

cooling : ....?

now please be generous and help me with these things also....

cooling: bijli should be able to take care of it with everything at stock in b'lore weather.

monitor: how long are you willing to wait for your monitor?Dell monitors can take anything between 2-3 human weeks to get delivered, on the other hand LG can be bought across the counter. if l226 is not available in market, then i guess the only 2 good choices u are left with will be dell SP2208WFP or the dell 22" ultrasharp.

As for the color response, seriously no idea. Maybe consulting some professional forums might be of some help. But then if you are really fussy about color reproduction, CRT may be your friend. All the displays under your consideration are 8-bit panels i guess.

he was harsh coz u were making no attempt to help yourself.

dont expect ppl to spoonfeed you. like you rightly said 50k is a big investment especially when it comes out of our own pockets. which is exactly why it makes all the more sense to make use of the god.

the 8400 has a higher clockspeed.

the wd640 is faster coz thats how its been made.

the ati card was recommended coz its better at your applications than the equivalent nvidia cards(equivalent on the pricing front).

i would suggest you get the cm334. much easier case to work with than the bijli with its sharp edges nd all.

do you have money left for cooling? how much? top of the line stuff like TRUE will set you back by arnd 2.6k for the cooler + 300-800 for a good fan. decent stuff like the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 will set you back by arnd 1.5k(wid fan).

are you going to be OCing at all? you wouldnt really need a cooler for a stock rig.
