My wants a very basic PC assembled which will be used for Net & watching movies. Suggest something for 10 K; need to buy

Case
CPU
Mobo
1 GB RAm
DVD Writer.

He want to use his 22" LCD as a monitor.

Don't know if it's possible to get this under 10 K. If not suggest something keeping in mind budget needs to be as minimum as possoble.

Processor: AMD AthlonII X2 240 - 3k
Motherboard: Biostar A785GE - 3.3k(HD 4200 is a very good IGP. Plays HD with eaze and directX 10.1 complaint)
RAM: Transcend 1GB DDR2 800 MHz - 1.1k
Cabinet: Zebronics Bijli ATX w/ bundled 400W SMPS - 1.7k
Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k
THis will cost you ~10.2k. As he will be using a 22" screen i guess he watches HD videos so you need a good IGP and dual core processor. The AthlonII+785G does a neat job of playing HD videos :D
You haven't mentioned about other components. In case if HDD is needed.
HDD: Seagate 250GB SATAII 7200.12 series- 1.9k/Seagate 500GB SATAII 7200.12 series- 2.3k

The rest of config as suggested by karthi007,only change i would say is processor AMD semrpon 140 for 1.8k...would suffice your needs..or get an atom rig...

^^No, its better to get 240, as he'll be watching movies. So we guess, he'll play HD movies.

And for DVD RW, go for Samsung SATA 22x.

Thanks buddy, its looks good. Yes I forgot to mention about HDD. I'll tell him to increase the buget by 2K -2.5 K.

Also he want to use his 22" LCD TV as monitor which has a HDMI input.
What output port does the suggested MOBO has?

+ any other suggestions for CPU and MOBO

CPU+MOBO+RAM+CABINET+HDD+DVD Writer

Proccy- AMD AthlonII X2 240 - 2.9k

M/B- Gigabyte 785GMT-UD2 - 5.9k

Ram- Transcend/Corsair 2GB 1333MHz DDRIII -2.6k

HDD- Seagate 500GB 7200.12 SATA 3.5" -2.5k

Cabinet- Zebronics Bijili cabby with SMPS - 1.7k

Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k

Total - 16.7k

Even though this rig costs more by 2k still it is futureproof for further DDR3 performance rams in future.

When u are spending 14.5k on a pc u would obviously want this pc to be futureproof and last for 2 years minimum
