PC Gamer Looking to Buy a Console at 20k

24 to 25 k.... Pretty good deal considering I have a good core i7 laptop to play all the PC exclucive(IF any exist.lol) Now I can enjoy all the games across all the platforms. Not much of a wii guy. Thats y aint getting kinetic or move either

I am getting PS3 fat 80 gig modded for 12 k shipped (15 months old) + Xbox 360 arcade modded for as low as I can get... should be 25 k I guess.
 
Actually the PS3 u are getting, as it is a fat, ain't the best deal (also no warranty remains, and Fat PS3's can fall prey to the YROD, although the chances are far lower than that of a RRoD).
 
Whichever console you buy you will end up buying the other one within next year, you really don't have any option :-)

I am buying both of them right away .... so guess u are right!
 
Nope :) ... I dont have reasons. I just dont want to. I dont make good use of every game anyways... No time, so most of the time I end up not playing MP. MP has infra expenses. Coding a game is mostly a one time expense. They have pretty good profit margins on even semi-successful games.

Its not the same with software's, I use them and I need support. I BUY them. Anyway no point discussing this. Everyone has their own lines which they draw. I have mine and I am happy with it. Btw I buy games that I enjoy. Bought COD series and HL series and few others.

going OT but could anyone quote latest prices for the PS3 Slim 160 gb and a wired PS3 Controller(only Mumbai prices).
 
Thnx for all who helepd me choose my console, I got the new PS3 slim 160 Gb for 20K with the vaeltine offer from ebay. The second hand PS3 I tried to buy from the guy was a bust, he tried to scam me. I had paypaled the money to him, so got it back today.

I modded with 3.55 kmeaw. Right now only have KZ2 on it. Already loving the graphics. The analog stick feels weird though, been a PC gamer for over 10 years, lol.

Thnx again for all the help guys, my xbox will come when I have more time to dedicate to gaming! maybe after 6 months I guess.

yup.. i was buying heavy rain from him.. but other guy who was buying PS3 from him has lost 9K.. some guy also lost 2K for other games.. this happened on orkut.. just wanted to make sure if this guy is on TE as well..
