His Name is Rajesh Rajput. I did this outside TE, dark.lord.rules gave me his contact as he(dark.lord.rules) had backout on a deal with him for the same PS3 as he had managed to get a PS3 locally. dark.lord.rules was buying a N900 from him but this guy said he sold his phone locally for an extra 1.5k locally. But this guy gave me a number and I tried calling next day but he the number never worked, I think he blocked my number. That evening he came online in GTalk and said he had sold his N900 and thats why his phone was off. But I got suspicious cuz when I called the number, it directly cut and dint get the regular "This phone is switched off atm". Then my emails started getting delivery notification failed and same with his PayPal email. I launched a PP dispute within 18 hours of lost contact and then waited 24 hours for any email, then I escalated to a claim.
His different excuses: I have sold my phone hence dont have a number to reach, cant ship it today as I am going to Calcutta for a Marriage and crap like that.
Good thing is his PP was a new one and I have had my PP for 6 years, so PP promptly returned my money after 10 days.

He told me he is from Durgapur or soemthing in West Bengal.
When you hear too many ezxcusses, just backoput guys. Always pay with PP as you have better control.
This is what I would recommend, have a business PP account, send payment, escalate the payment to a claim so the fund gets frozen, if the seller ships it, then he can always show the receipt and get the money freed. Incase he tries to scam you, your money will be returned in exactly 10 days. Ofc this is only for new guys who dont have a direct contact with. I have seen bigger scams that this, so I have learned to be cautious when dealing with online payments.

Pls post the way he scammed you, every theif has a MO, if its similar, its the same guy who scamed you.

Yea .. thanx heavens that i didnt go further ahead with the ps3 deal with him .... he asked me for cash transfer as i couldnt do paypal ... it was only my luck that i got saved
but glad that hahahari got hes money back or else even i would have been guilty for hes loss ... would never recommend any deal until n unless i know the other person well...
