Also if you want a fast downloader and you have FireFox, try out DownThemAll! for FF. It'll DL your videos, audio and pix just fine, and packs in advanced edit function as well.

Its cool, damn fast.., wish to install for Chrome & IE-7 also, is it available?

someone please suggest a tool wherein you could simply drag and drop the thumbnails of various videos from YT onto the software-window for download. a very good one for instance is Tomabo Youtube Video Downloader. am looking for a free counterpart/FF-plugin.

I think one such app is 4K Downloader.
Can download play lists as well.
