try running on integrated graphics only and see if problem persists. problem could be with graphic card or the graphic card slot.

@OP, did you try this solution yet?
if you don't hear any error beeps when running on integrated graphics, then your card is faulty. do give it a try.

Alternatively, try the graphics card on the other graphics slot.

A new bios update 0512 has been released by asus ..gonna apply that and see .. hope that helps .. keeping my fingers crossed as of now ..

Applied the bios update .. did it from servicing centre to be on the safe side ..it was tested there and display was there .. came to my home and plugged everything in and then saw the CPU,Cabinet,PSU fan everything is running but there is no display ..even when I kept both the rams outside there was no ram beep to indicate wherether ram was detected or not ..:S .. donno what to do now ..:huh:

Got the board replaced but the same problem persists ..

pls chk GPU n ur PSU.

unmount PSU, n short the black n green wire of the 24 pin mobo socket. n see if the SMPS powers up or does it stops shortly.

display was not there from my onboard vga so got it replaced again,applied bios update and then tried with 5850 now it's working .. thanks to everyone for helping .. :hap2:
