CPU/Mobo PC Probe II on Rampage II Extreme

An interesting way to start the first morning of 2010. Had this crop up when I ran CPU-Z.

Looks like a good sample of conflict between PC Probe II and CPU-Z 1.53.

Not sure what that application is, seems to be reporting incorrect. Does your chipset even have a NorthBridge, if that what NB is supposed to be. You can use the following applications to cross reference temperatures/voltages.

1. RealTemp (also for stress test and sensor check).

2. HW Monitor.

3. Lavalys Everest

PC probe comes along in the Asus Driver DVD. It's definitely showing wrong temps.

lol i hate the damn thingy.. cause nothing but problems.

I stick to Everest..

PC Probe and other monitoring applications have been know to throw this sort of result up when run in tandem. It was a bit surprising that this happened, even thought the polling for PC Probe had been reduced.
All in all it probably best to run just one monitoring tool at a time.

PC Probe II on my Crosshair II formula acts like the same when i start the Speed Fan Utility..
