PC Peripherals PC shuts down while playing games

hello all...im having a unique problem in my pc...whenever i play graphic intensive games like cod mw2 or hawx pc shuts down straight up but i can play games like fifa10 or surf the net for hours...mw2 lasts for 2-3 stages and hawx for 5mins at best :( (even if i pause the game or set it in idle)
i have 4800+(65w) in m2n mx-se ,3hdds, 2*2g rams,dvd rw,pci lan card and 4670
im assuming the psu to be the culprit..its generic frontech 500w :no:
now if the psu is the problem can u people please sugg a psu for the rig pref around 2k.
im also looking to buy epson aio tx111..any input on that...

Definitely sounds like a psu problem. The only other possibility is the RAM. Run memtest to rule out that. I think the gigabyte 460 retails for roughly 2k, but I am sure that other members will be able to suggest a better option for you.
 
Hmm, I think dere might be overheating issues. Plz check the temperature of cpu in bios as soon as it shuts down. If it is in nineties then it is definitely overheating issues as cpu restarts when temperature reaches 100 degree C.

but ive already tested with prime95 and its stable...temps are a bit high though..cpu idle 50c mobo 44-45c..

i did the memtest also..they r fine :)
