PC Peripherals PC starting problem

Hello,

My PC is not starting on pressing the front panel power switch button. On pressing switch power led glows, processor fan rotates, but no boot process started ( no beep @ol ).

I have tried with unplugging all the internal cables including hdd, floppy, cdrom as well external cables including keyboard, mouse.

but still problem is same, on pressing switch power led is on, psu fan & processor fan rotates..

what could be the problem:huh:

RAM....try replacing it....or try putting ur same RAM in the other socket....

keep all the cables etc removed accept keyboard and monitor and then try

tried same.
even add another RAM module into my pc & removed all cables except keyboard but still no progress....

so either the smps isnt able to provide enuf juice to ur rig....even with all internal components like HDD removed....or ur bios or proccy are busted....

would suggest u try putting ur proccy on some 1 else's system to find that out....but try replacing the smps before that just to be sure

Do you get an image on the monitor?? Try replacing the ram slot and clean the ram connections with an eraser. ( It worked for me)

Try reseting the BIOS either with a reset switch or by removing the battery.
