After some research i have finalized on the following rig

I5 2400 - 9.8k (costtocost)

Msi h67 mobo - 4.6k (smc)

Corsair 4gb ddr3 - 1.2k (smc)

HD 6870 - 10.4k (costtocost)

Total - 26k

Would my Vx450 support this rig ???

Can costtocost be relied on considering low prices of Gpu ???

well u want to pull out max performance at 1080p tht GPU wont help!!

BF3,Crysis2,GTA4 are GPU intensive not CPU intensive so a i3 with HT will do the job.

My suggestion:-

i3 2100-6K

H67 mobo-5-6K

Corsair 4GB ddr3 ram-1.2-1.4K

GFX-gtx 560ti 15K

sums around 27K and will pull out ultra in Crysis2,Gta4 and BF3 30fps with ultra and 4xmsaa at 1080p resolution.

Hd6870-11.5k or more because of price hike,it would be safer if you get a 500w psu, seasonic s12ii 520w-3.6k,you can sell your vx450 if you are tight on budget.

I dont wanna sell my smps its only a year old

You have a 955be + HD6850 right ? Is it able to run the above mentioned games at 1080p??

I ain't gaming at full hd reso, for full hd gaming you should definitely get hd6870 or nvidia gtx560-13k,you can run hd6870 on vx450 but if you overclock it would be a problem.

I am not looking to overclock anything

And should i trust costtocost because as per their pricelist on 1 nov hd 6870 - 9.7k + tax = 10.2k

well i have never bought anything from cost to cost, you better get your rig from the good local shops from nehru place.

A good one is SMC international but it is relatively expensive but good quality guaranteed

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Their site says Gtx560 - 11.5k and HD6870 - 13.5k

gtx 560 is cheap,560ti is worth!!

Better pm smc and confirm the rates and it'd be better if you get it locally cause from smc you will have to pay shipping+octroi charges. Here you can ask for local shops hope this helps-http://www.techenclave.com/pc-buying-advice/price-updates-from-nehru-place-delhi-137835-51.html

What if i went with AMD Phenom 955be , i wdnt have to buy a new mobo so would save money ??

Yes you could do that, phenomII x4 955be-5.8k,that way you can save the money and can go for gtx560ti-13.5k or hd6950-15.5k+seasonic s12ii 520w psu-3.6k

^^ No, no, no... do not even think of running a GTX 560 Ti on a VX 450, the Phenom IIx6 is anyways heavy on the SMPS, toss in a GTX 560 Ti, you are bordering on the rails of SMPS failure.

Upgrade your SPMS to a 600W to add a card like the GTX 560 Ti to be safe.
