Thanks

hmmmmm welcome to the -confused- gang......neways....

as far as the LCD goes , i would suggest u order from DELL....they have some real awsome ones going for abt 10k ......From the rest out in the market for a ready pick , dont look any further than "Samsung" ....the rest may be good , with a pathetic after sales customer service.......

For ur moderate gaming needs the : E4500 is a best match.....Retails for about Rs.4800......and since u want an onboard gfx again pick intel : say : D33FB Rs.5000 , 1 gig ram + creative 2.1.....

E4500-Rs.4850

D33FB - Rs.5000

2.1Creative - Rs.1250

1 gig transend - Rs.900

PowerSafe SMPS 400w gold - Rs.1300

Elcheapo iball Cab - Rs.1000

kbb + mouse - Rs.700

Dell - ~ 10ish ....

however others will soon suggest u pick on a amd combo for ur onboard needs :) in the end its ur pick

killer vfm cabinet -- Cooler master 690 -- 3.9k --- comes with 3X120 mm fans
moderate gaming should not require 2 gigs of ram, but always better to have 2 gigs.

well 35 k on board .

get the palit mobo , N73 or something look in the market section phoniex has a deal on it . cheap and nice graphics. get in 2 gb ram now itss cheap and will be a good buy.

3 k mobo + 2k ram + 5 k processor e4500 + lcd 10 k + zebronics psu + cabinet 1.5 k + keyboard mouse 500 bucks ,hdd 2 k

My two cents:

Viewsonic 19" LCD widescreen - 9000
Intel S975XBX2 Mobo - 9000
Intel E6550 - 2.33Ghz - 7000
Cabinet - I like iball cabinets, so go for those - 1500
Keyboard and mouse together (cordless, from branded companies - MS or iball) 2500
HDD - 200GB SATA seagate - 2500
Speakers - Creative, Altec lansing or iBall - (2.1) 1500

Total - 33000 Approx.

Hope it helps.

However, if you want fairly good built in GFX, i suggest an ASUS Board with an AMD processor. Coz as of now, Asus makes the best boards (for low to mid range) and most of them are AMD Compatible.

Do let us know what you have bought and how much it cost you.

@soul.. do u have any idea wat ur talking abt?? :p :p

seen u recommending asus in other threads too

asus is not something we here would recommend.. there have been more than enough threads here about the crappy after sales support provided by asus in india.. thanks to rashi.

'and most of them are amd compatible'.. well they have an exclusive range of boards for amd proccy's.. why would you say that 'most' of them are amd compatible :p. they have an equivalent number of intel boards as well...

@neetu..

i dont see the point behind a budget of 35k nd an onboard gfx chip.. if ur putting in tht much money, might as well take a decent discrete gfx card such as a 8600gt or thereabouts..

also.. why are you recommending the badaxe2??? totally unnecessary overkill not to mentions its had a load of stability problems.

Mate!! I know what I am talking about, Since she wanted a board with onboard GFX, I suggested Asus. They are easily available, and I still find their performance to be pretty decent.

As for the service, it seems pretty neat for us in Hyde. I had a problem only once, and the board was promptly replaced.

As for everything else, I agree with you, @35K, you could easily go in for a 8600GTS.

No offence intended or taken. I am ignorant about the bad aftersales service of asus.

@Neetu: Looks like I have goofed up at the end, but if you still want an onboard GFX, the config stands, what say Stalker?

Hi Neetu,Welcome to TE!:D

Well, everybody's suggesting something different so i think that maybe a bit confusing for you.

And let me tell you till you aren't clear about what are u gonna get, u shouldn't rush the purchase.

This is the best i could make out for 35k keeping in mind your needs and wants.

1. Monitor

I suggest u go with Dell,i am really having a bad experience purchasing Viewsonic VX1932wm but still that doesn't

mean every LCD from them is a bad product though its a fact they have pathetic after sales service whereas dell simply rocks.

if u can wait till about 2-3 weeks for a LCD u should definitely go with Dell.

Dell E198WFP 19" around 10k is what u should consider.

Even if u have to go with viewsonic Dont buy that VA1912w,instead get a better model along with DVI i.e. VG1930wm.

VG 1930 is also around 10k.

2. Keyboard and mouse

I have that Microsoft basic keyboard and mouse, and its fine though has some minor issues with the mouse sometimes.

Price is around 650 bucks.

3. Speakers

Altec Lansing Atp3 is a real good choice at around 2.2k

Creative's M2600 is also fine at around 1.5k

4. Processor

E4500 is a great performer at around 4800 bucks. U need not think twice getting this.

5. Motherboard

Well, if u are in Delhi u don't have much options except MSI p35 neo or the Intel

DG33FB.

But let me tell you Intel boards aren't much of stability n particularly this board has some issues.

MSI's solution is rock solid as im using it myself.

Its available around 5.8k

As for the graphics it would be a lot lot better if u buy a cheap graphic card worth 2k rather than going with that onboard solution on DG33FB.

Your LCD will really shine with a graphic card.

6. Graphic card

Well i think XFX 7100gs or 7300gs around 2k is well enough for occasional and moderate gaming and your

LCD too will love it.

7. RAM

Definately go with 2gb ram as its dirt cheap nowadays.

Kingston should be around 1k for 667mhz 1gb stick.

8. HDD

Seagate's HDD's perform quite good.

A 250 gigger would be around 2.6k.

9.DVD Writer

Liteon is pretty good solution.Go with that.

10.Cabinet and PSU

Rather than getting cheap looking zebronics cabby's go with Cooler Master elite 330.

Its available around 1.8k.

PSU quality should definitely not be ignored. If you are in Delhi a AMIGO real power 500w is a decent option around 1.6k.

Powersafe gold is another decent option.

Summing up the prices it comes out to be around 34750.

These are all delhi prices.Let us know where you are you from to have an idea about more accurate prices.

Let us know if you have any further queries.

@audiophile2rock
Thanks for the suggestions,i'm from b'lore..I enqired about the CM 330,Its around 2.7k here, and i need the comp asap,So i'll stick with Viewsonic/Samsung.If the DG33FB has stability issues then can ya suggest me another motherboard which has good onboard gfx?

Considering your application and desire for minimum budget possible try this.

Monitor - Dell 19" 5 yr on site warranty (10.5)

Mobo with on board GFX - http://www.techenclave.com/forums/c2d-mobo-under-3k-you-must-102089.html (3.0)

CPU - E4500 (5.0)

2x1GB RAM 667 Mhz (2.0)

KB and mouse (1.0)

Generic Cabby (Zebronics or something) with PSU - (2.0)

HDD 250 GB with 16 MB cache (3.0)

Optical Drive - Any Sata Drive (2.0)

10.5+3+5+2+1+2+3+2 = 28.5

Speakers - Personal choice you have ~7.0k To play around with

These are maximum prices and should actually finish with ~27.0 k

Some may back at generic PSU and cabby, in which case your budget may go up by ~1k for that, but its not really needed.

You will finish well within your budget.:hap2:

Ok,i need a motherboard with onboard gfx.So plz help

i am again suggesting dear investing 2k in a graphic solution would be a much pleasant experience for you.

And get the biostar tp35 motherboard...its one of the most recommended p35 budget mobo on TE.

650i's are old tech...buggy.

Intel has some issues.

So just go with a good p35(a biostar,MSI,or even a Abit p35) mobo wichever is readily available at ur end.

Try this too..

Intel 2160 - 3k

Gigabyte G33-4.7k

2*1gb transcend ddr2 800-2.2k

Viewsonic1930wm -9.5k

250gb seagate hdd-2.65k

Samsung SH203D sata DvdRW-1.25k

Microsoft wired set- .65k

Altec Lansic ATP3 - 2.5K

Zebronics Bijli - or zeb geforce case4 (if u want a slim case)-1.6k

Total 28K..well if u want absolutely intel 4500 use the left over 2k and get it!
