@rohan u had bought a pci gfx card from vashi right?

BTW at lamington you can get a ATI 8MB PCI gfx card fro 300 (mention that u want a PCI video/vga card)

the card which i purchased from vashi is just 1mb card which cannot handle resolution more than 800x600 without proper drivers. so looking for a better pci card.

even i tried for better pci card but only pci card avialable is BIG Ati 8MB pci gfx card that too for Rs.300 with 1yr warranty even i wanted atleast 64MB card but nowhere in lamington

are you sure you get a pci card at lamington ? if yes then i would go there today !
 
I have a old pixelview TV tuner card + VGA combo card. It is 7-8 years old but works perfectly. Had bought for 15K i guess. It muct be having 2 or 4 MB vga ram. Can give for 500+shipping. Let me know if interested.

takes high resolutions with ease as it has a cirrus logic chipset which was one of the best at a time.

It's a Pixelview-Cirrus Logic PV-CL5446P+ PCI vga+tuner card. and looks like this

i went lamington .. wen i asked in most of the shops about a pci card .. thy gave me prices of a pci-e card .. then i had to reconfirm tat im asking abt a pci card .. then they made weird faces as if tats the first time thy r hearing abt a pci card .. som of them replied pci card is available however of 1 mb , 2mb or 8 mb .. mahavir computers has 128 mb pci graphic card at 850/- .. would buy this next week
