FoxIt PDF reader is a a really good pdf reading software

Adobe takes anywhere between 5-15 seconds to open a pdf file depending on the size of the file and system specs.

Besides The size of the setup file as well as the installation take close to 300 MB (Adobe 8)

Foxit is a freeware , the setup size is 1.5MB and on installation it will take only 3 MB

and the best part is irrespective of anything foxit takes less than 1 sec to open a pdf file :hap2:

..for all the reason you mentioned above.

printing to pdf also has quite a few 3rd party utilities.

However, if you need to modify (especially) pdf's, there is very little choice out there.
