Peers are not getting connected in utorrent

hey,

I am using utorrent n am havin a strange problem. When i use a torrent file which has 2000 seeds n 3000 peers , am not getting connected to even 1 peer in the torrent. Am using BSNL and when i dnld from a direct link the speeds are too good as above :hap2: 100kbps n all but when i use utorrent its not more than 5kbps... Rarely am getting connected to peers but only 2 or 3 , not more than that... The status:( " No incoming connections "... Wat s the reason for this ?
I tried port forwarding but it didnt help me.

please help me out of the prob...:huh:

Hit Ctrl+G to open speed guide. Click "Test if port is forwared correctly". Check the result.

Also, make sure the port is between the range 49152-65535.
 
whats the result of port checking on utorrent? Does it show that your ports are being forwarded in Green? If not, provide details of your modem and we can try to solve this for you. Which modem are your using? P2P port forwarding is a common issue with many factors responsible for it. Your firewall, your choice of ports, your ISP. But since you use BSNL, the ISP part should not be an issue. Something with your modem and (or) your firewall.

I am having some problems of my own and need to test a file that has >1000 seeds, and cant find any

If its ok, could you give me a link to this file? either here or in a message box
