I think Riv might be having issues with processing so many refund requests; nonetheless he should keep the communication channels opens with the forum. Since many people are having difficulty in communicating with him, maybe the mods should reach out to hi for a realistic timeline for the refunds.
(I'm also awaiting my refund)
 
I gave my first ever negative iTrader feedback to Riv.
Its surprising that so many people had trouble with Riv but he had 100% positive feedback till today.
Guyz, iTrader ratings are there for a reason, use it to reflect your true sentiment towards the seller so that people dealing with the seller in future may know his true track record.

Bro,

The feedbacks are mostly for the perfumes in the first 2 gos,He duped so many people its hard to believe .
 
I have altogether given up on getting refunds. I don't have the patience to ship the perfumes back and then run around begging for refunds. Moreover he is saying he cant refund slightly used bottles where level has dropped a little as the dealer won't take it back. First the dealer has the audacity to sell fakes through TE then he wont take it back if the bottle level has dropped 5 percent. The juice inside is as good as shiet so i am thinking of dumping it in the garbage or some creative use like using it as a fuel to burn garbage. Anyways, lesson learnt.
 
Where have all the Mods disappeared?? I thought they said they would monitor this thread and Rivunited to ensure refunds for people who wanted them?
 
gives credibility to the old saying " when something is too good to be true ,its crap" or something like that :D
 
This Perfume Scam is the 2G scam of TE with so many people getting cheated and Riv suddenly disappearing on TE once the issue started.
His Last active date is 30-10-12.

There is no update on my refund. Can any one please help me reach Riv or can I raise a police complaint.

I know Mods are not getting paid or anything but it would be better if they actively monitor and update the status here.

I have his account number. So please suggest if I can give a police complaint online.

I'm happy to join in on this complaint. We should file a complaint at the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell - they are said to be very responsive
 
I would suggest that we ask one of the mods to reach out to him and get a firm committment from him before taking any drastic/irreversible actions!

I had bought 2 perfumes in the first GO and quality was fine. What exactly happened in the later GOs?

How can one say that first lot was not fake also? None were experts.. All were just using it for the first time. :(
 
Tried calling him but he isn't picking up. Shall give a call later in the evening and possibly a message that things might go really bad from here, if he was to neglect the calls and messages.
 
the perfumes he supplied in this GO were most likely fakes; at least the 3 I ordered were all fake. I say that because 2 out of the 3 smelled like rotten cough medicine and nothing like the originals that I have owned in the past.
The 3rd was a fragrance that I had not tried earlier, but assumed was the real deal. But I was wrong about that, as the original smelled much better and lasted much longer.

Also, I'd like to stress on the following points:
a. We are dealing with Riv, not his dealer. so when he sold us the perfumes claiming they were 'original' testers, it was his responsibility to ensure he was not selling fakes; knowingly or unknowingly. A lot of people bought perfumes they had not sampled earlier purely based on a certain level of trust that is associated with dealing on this forum. So if it turns out that he supplied fake products to begin with, he should accept returns and refund the money irrespective of how much has been consumed.
b. The money was paid directly to him and not his dealer. I don't see why we should be made to wait, even if the dealer is not paying Riv. Riv should pay from his pocket if it comes to that

This is a clear case of fraud but I'm not sure Riv realises that. I'm just surprised how Riv is taking things so lightly here, by not communicating with anyone! I hope he realises that he cannot get away by keeping quite. I'm not sure he understands the gravity of the mess he has created and the risk he is carrying!!

I had ordered 4 bottles and initially i was happy and even praised him for the deal. I was using ADG that i got from him on a daily basis. This was my first experience with ADG. After the level on ADG fell a bit i noticed this change, the smell of rotten chemical and more like alcohol with some top notes of ADG in the background. And it didn't even last an hour and initially it lasted for full 24 hours on my skin from the same bottle. Then i happened to see all the accusations being made in this forum. Just to be sure before i point my finger, i took my bottles to shopper stop and did a side by side comparison of 3 bottles. One of the bottle i had gifted. That was the shocker and i realized that these are fakes or diluted versions. Common sense says that the actual juice stays at the top owing to a lighter density then the base alcohol and first many whiffs are very hard to differentiate from the real thing. Once the level drops slightly there is less actual juice and more base alcohol in the bottle which explains the noticable change. For me this explains why he was able to dupe so many people so easily.
 
As expected He never explained anything but asked some of his friends to give him an alibi when it failed he has stopped responding.
 
Now another twist....

Riv has sent money for one perfume and he says he will send cannot give me money for other costlier perfume. He says his dealer will send the replacement.

I want to believe all the things that he says but after the mess he has created I told him clearly that I do not want any perfume from him and please return my money back.

He says he does not have any money now and only can replace.

MODS please take some sort of action. He has clearly mentioned earlier in the GO thread that he will refund the money but now even after one month still he keeps on postponing with some new reasons.
