Persisting issues with Nokia N73 and shoddy customer care service

@indian. Well I did read your comment. THats why i specifically wrote that thing about replacement.

If you get replacement make sure you also get a receipt from them saying your IMEI no has changed because your bill is tied to your IMEI no. And tomorrow one fine day if problem again arise with the replaced phone they might simply refuse the service saying the IMEI on bill and phone does not match.
 
Just put a court case on nokia, you will get new box packed Mobile ;) [CONSUMER COORDINATION COUNCIL]

Many guys from here did this and it worked.

Maybe this can be tried if the call to nokia help line fails.

That letter is nice, get the address of nokia customer care and forward a copy to them, contacting nokia is the key.

Their documentation system is pretty ok, what is more important that we retain these bits of paper, we tend to simply toss them away.

From my experience, they never asked me for the older anything .. nor for a bill either.

Hey Guys..
just came from Nokia Care (vashi telecom) present in my Navi Mumbai

i was not able to go to lower-Parel (phoenix mills Head Office) because of my family members saying that some MNS party communal violence takin place in the surrounding areas.

hence i went back to the same center which has been fooling around with me all this time but i showed the manager present there , the letter which i had written and warned him of stern action against his office thru Media and Legal Channels.

That ass then promised to me that this time the cellphone will be replaced surely. ( but i dont trust this ppl. they will handover me some shit old phone i believe )

he has given me the ETA of 8-10 days.

BTW... when NOKIA does a SWAP do they provide refurbished Handsets or New Ones ??

and if refurbished ... are they good in condition ?

coz in sony ericsson whenever the cellphone went for swap i got a new one against it :D

plz let me know from ur past expiriences

y the f**k i just cant sue this bas**rds.... without facing the estimated agony out of filing a suit....
consumers are cheated like anythin.. especially in this mobile market where stuff`s sold are worth hefty money but service is shit.

i would say just one thing...
Philips, Haier, Motorola and Nokia
for all the above the service is managed by Brightpoint india(they have a website) which is a US based company..
the service is just too bad..
 
Thats the reason i said dude watch the program i guess they also give their ctct number for ppl who don't have net penetration
