how many of you like pets here ... not that i am doing a survey ... i just need to know where to get a cat in mumbai ... any assisstance is appreciated
 
i had a german spitz at home(yoyo), right now her son(cyber) and grandson(kiki) are with us :D

there is always the occasional stray puppy or kitten also
 
I have my Spitz named Naughtie... Needless to say he is the most important member of the family... My mom would give me up for him :ashamed:...
 
I have a Labrador Retriever (black) named shadow. Had a white labrador before him name tiger. But i dont like cats.... :ashamed:
 
i have a boxer down home , but i just cannot bring myself to keep a dog in the apartment...its just not cool... so i am gonna pull myself to keep a cat...

you are master to a dog but a slave to a cat...makes sense huh
 
Ambar, dude how much does a beagle cost in India? I've been thinking of getting a dachund, but I always had a soft spot for bassett hounds and beagles.

Are you by any chance living in bangalore?

Also i heard that they have a really bad temper ...is that true?
 
I had a dachund till like 3 years back (poor thing dies). Yep she had a beastly temper. But my grandmother also had a dachund who was an absolute angel.
I suppose I could bag a dachund for like 5-6k in bangalore. Thing is, I'm studying out here right now and I live in a rented flat, can't really go and buy a 16k pet when my monthly budget comes out to around 10k :D.

Beagles are supposed to be hyperactive aren't they? Someone told me that they need loads of exercise and stuff. They're lovely dogs though. The one you got looks cute.
 
Yes,they are hyperactive and persistent.They will chew all the things you can think of,including paper,screws,pencils,slipper,my mouse,scales,and sometimes eat up erasers.....

It's not as if they NEED to run around that much.Even if you play with a dog for 30 mins in a day (running around,catching her,fetching thingsetc) it will be enough for them.

But the best part is that they are really "cutttieee" and affectionate.They can understand when you are not in a good mood or are depressed.
 
Ive got 3 2-week old kittens (all spotted/striped leopard-type) and 2 3-month old kittens - one white and one black....you interested? ;)
