CPU/Mobo Phenom II 550 BE 0922APMW

Hey guys please help me out...
Ever since i heard about Phenom II 550 BE core unlocking capabilities i have been saving all my pocket money to buy one. But now after months of savings i feel it may go waste since i can't find the phenom II processors of batch 0922APMW.
I'm still on P4 and i felt that i could give dual cores a miss and directly jump to quad platform but its really sad that i can't find any.
So guys i will be highly gratefull to you if you can tell me a shop or a person who sells processor of that batch in Mumbai...
Please guys help me...

It lack L3 cache which affects in game performance.
And it has been my wish to build a semi gaming rig since very long time cos i love to game but can't even think of playing any current game on my present system.
Also most of my friends have high end systems so i want to be atleast in the competition...
 
^^That benchmark is based on IGP not on dedicated graphics. The lack of L3 will surely reduce gaming performance but once overclocked to 3.2 or higher it might pull it off :)
 
no matter what but a unlocked 550be can pull it of versus athlon quadcore:bleh:

and if anyone knows where can i find that 0922a batch proccy in CTC hyderabad please do inform:huh:
 
^^Why you guys are crying for 0922 ? that is an older batch even the newer batch (oc better) has unlocking capabilities :P

0925cpmw/apmw? the one Amey and appo has got.

Are u sure that 0925cpmw/apmw can be unlocked cos i'm going to Lamington Rd. today to buy the proccy so please confirm it urgently....

im goin to buy that old batch proccy for an extra 500rs

if its true that even the new ones can unlock then ill go for them:huh:
 
its 4018MHz as X4 and 4118MHz as X2 on This page

although i think he had OCed cores individually for optimum result.

~4GHz was still possible with 0922ampw on a comparatively weaker biostar and even weaker memory for sumchamp.

lets see.. he has moved to ddr3 and msi g65 i think.. hope it will improve a little if not alot :)
 
Went to Lamington Rd today and store there has got Phenom II 550 Batch:0929apmw ...

Its i think one of the newest batch...

Very little i could find on net about that batch.......

I have found only one unlock attempt and that got success....

So guys is it a good batch for unlocking.....

If u find any success story on net could u please mention it...

Please be quick cos i need to buy as soon as possible..

Phenom II's are selling like hot cakes.....
 
So should i go with 0929apmw since 0922APMW is not available anywhere........

Also Kingston/Transcend 2 GB RAM's 1066MHz are costing Rs.1600/ are these the right prices..
