First Thoughts:

When I saw it first time I was like OMG :O what a huge box.

I opened it & then saw those super sexy looking huge Headphones.

They look awesome.

I put them on my ears and they were so big & comfortable that I did not remove then since that time. :hap2:

Testing:

I tested these headphones with every kind of music I had at every volume level and no distortion at all even at full volume.

The bass was excellent too.

The sound is very loud and clear too.

Final Thoughts:

These are the best headphones I have used in my life till now.

I recommend these to each and every one with a budget of 1.5k or less.

Excellent quality headphones.

I salute Philips for making these & Chaos & many other TE members for recommending these headphones to me.

Bought this! Udit's review is true to every word i must say!

Listening to music on these just gives off a 'totally' different effect than those heard from normal headphones. A must for any audiophile. I'll rate these 5 stars as well :hap2:

thanks a lot pal.

LOL these are cheapo headphones not audiophile headphones :P.

^^Cos you can't expect audiophile quality sound from a 1000 rupee can. However they definitely are exceptionally good for the price ;).

I'd gotten them couple of months back for Rs 850; I think the mrp on the box itself was only Rs 1195.

Pros: Very comfortable, Long and single-sided cable, decent enough sound for indipop.
Cons: Too bright, distorts a lot when listening to metal/noise bands like Boris etc(i.e look for something better if you listen to downtuned metal and such). No volume control - I guess most better headphones lack this, but I use it with the pc and the mp3s I have are of different volumes, which makes its absence highly inconvenient for a typical pc user.

I don't know if this provides good value, but I definitely feel that I paid too much for the quality it gives and I don't get a brand name like Sennheiser to boast to my friends either ;).

i also own these headphones and i got them in november last year for arnd 1.1K
seriously i liked them for arnd few days and after that i was completely bored of it...the bass is strictly ok and does sound bit dramatic and cannot produce low frequency elements efficiently

the mid range is good though and gives a wide soundstage and i enjoy watching late night dvds on my laptop using these headphones....i use the "spatializer" sound algorithm from the intervideo windvd player which dramatically increases the clarity and depth of the sound thus giving a good dvd viewing experience...

honestly speaking the sound quality of these headphones ranges from above average to slightly good and i wish i had gone for altec lansing headphones but at that time my max budget was arnd 1.2K and so cudnt go for altec lansing headphones

my next headphones wud definately be from sennheiser...

Awesome headphones dude!!i went for them and got em for 1195 bux.listenin to Blind By Korn now.thnx for reviewing,it really helped me to decide.
