Phillips shp 8900/9000 vs Audio-technica ad700

Does anyone know where to get sh8900 and shp9000 in bangalore? They were on eaby a few days ago but they are gone now.

I have just ordered shp9000 on ratetag.com for 3300. You get 500 rs. discount with coupon jinglebell500. I hope the site is reliable and the product gets delivered in a few days. Will write a review as soon as I receive it.
 
Philips would not be a bad idea to start with a decent headphone anyways. Try and bargain you could get them for sub 2500 INR . Philips has already liquidated the stocks. At 2500 INR go for philips.

OMG! You are spot on. I had placed the order for Philips SHP9000 for 3300 on ratetag.in. They contacted me yesterday and said Philips had asked them to return their entire stock of SHP8900/Shp9000 series and as a result my order has been cancelled. Since you deal with audiophile equipment would it be possible for you to get the AD700 for a good price ( < 5000). If that is not possible what is the best gaming headphone for 5000?
 
Anyone have any idea about the Fischer Audio Titan's. Can't find any english reviews but from what I can make out from the russian google translations it seems to be as good as the shp8900s at least. Can't find any decent cans for sale in the 1.5-3k range anywhere :(
 
The shp9000 arrived just now; super comfortable but the fabric gets a bit warm on the ears. Feels a bit bright even with the E5's bass boost on but I'm digging soundstage and treble. Definitely much more flimsy compared to even the SHP805 which withstood a lot of abuse from me over the last 5 years or so. Basically reminds me of the 805 except every area has more detail and separation... but I guess I don't have anything else to compare it to either.
 
The left earpiece finally broke today which I easily fixed with a couple of strips of insulation tape. Also opened them up and stuffed some cotton. Result; reduced soundstage/separation and brightness but more bass and fun sound :yeah:
