Phone for ~3k(should be able to function as modem when connected to PC)

I am looking for buying a simple phone within a budget of Rs.3000. I want big battery and ability to connect the phone to PC for internet usage. I have selected the following phones for this:

1. Karbonn K9

2. Lava KKT 40+

3. Lava A-16

Please tell which of these is better phone and VFM phone.

Avoid these phones and go for the Nokia X2-02. Has a decent battery and the Nokia Suite software allows you to connect to internet. It also has class 12 edge.

Don't go with GPRS connectivity ... damn slow & crappy.

Wait & save some money & go with decent 3G Handset like Sony, Huawei or Samsung. Ask DarkAngel for 3G handsets.

You can also check out Samsung E3210 .....pretty much in your budget.....but they don't bundle data cable with the phone...but its a microUSB cable which you can easily get ......it hasa decent speed HSDPA upto 3.6Mbps and most basic functions
