Decided that the time has come for me to get a new phone and retire the trusty old 5800.

slightly confused now with all the new handsets in the market...so would love it if you guys would help me out a bit

current front runners are : HTC One X , Samsung Galaxy S3, Sony Xperia S

Since you have a very meager budget you have the options that you've already put in your considered phones list.. However I'd advice you to wait till LG 4x is released.. It does look pretty decent even though its LG (with their notorious software updation policies and UI) that we are talking about..

Also coming from 5800, just go and see whether you're ready for a 4.7-4.8" screen phone..

well not much of a poster....rather like reading about stuff a lot thats all....plus have bought my phone from here a while back ....but hey there is a first time for everything right ?

I guess HOX is the one leading over other at this moment
