Phone purchase advise Please...

^^ A big NO to B7610. The 800 MHz processor seems to be just a gimmick, the touch wiz UI is very sluggish and frustating to execute even simple tasks. Xperia X2 was even worser. I'd totally stay away from Winmo 6.5 devices.

Dude .. i believe samsung has figured out what there short comings were .. and many of the users have been really satisfied with this specially of what it offers .. it is really good .. it does have a physical qwerty keypad .. which if you want can use but also has options of other input methods ..!! 22k all inclusive bro ..

I disagree .. the 800 mhz processor infact has done wonders .. and this phone is doing pretty well inthe market ..!! and on the other part .. it can be upgraded Win 6.5 from 6.1 .. well .. that is my point of view .. rest is upon the OP to decide .. because .. AFAIK .. theres no better phone here in this price range to be looked up ..!!

Well...

so i roamed few shops last evening. It sucks to buy a phone in my city. No demo at all. pay and get it. :(.

From Nokia --> N86 is only in few shops which will order it for me, so i have to take it if i order... 18.5k

N97 mini, 22.7k ....

From SE --> w995 --> 19k, Aino --> 20.5k, Viva --> 23.1 k. . No demo, just buy and get it. I saw the dummy for viva, its kinda plastiky.. but i may be able to demo a viva...

From Samsung --> B7610... only in few shops which will order it for me, so i have to take it if i order... 22.5k

So folks... ???
 
i wud still suggest the n97 mini.i got one myself a month back.loving each moment of it.i wudn goto winmo if i were seriously into multimedia.i used a samsung omnia before and sold it away within a month.u can get a new n97 mini from ebay for 22k .ifu have a coupon u can get it for much lesser
 
yea n97 mini is now high up on my list..

any ways to play the Divx xvid files in it??...
 
i've been using smartmovie to play most of the files but it doesn support divx.but i think core player supports it.need to check on it.
 
n97.also vivaz doesn have a physical keyboard.i used to miss a physical keyboard wen i had omnia.also there is an added advantage of nokia's brand name and cos of which ur phone will have a better resale value
 
Well mini ofcourse.

but one thing.. isnt 23k over priced for n97mini... I heard from someone its in range of 20.5k something... why my city got high prices always.. :(

I am bit apprehensive wether i want to spend 23k for a phone.. i will only use it for a year.. :( .... n86 looks more endearing to me now.
