Phone purchase advise Please...

Hi...

This weekend I am buying a new phone which i am going to use for a year. Not gonna change it. I never bought expensize phones or the sorts. Just normal phones are good enough for me. And never purchased a phone above 13k...
but for the last 3 years i have bought over 7 phones which made that point kinda stupid..

So this time Gonna spend upto 20k... *that amount is too much for me for a phone so dont say anything more please*

Requirements:

Big screen
Music Qlty and 3.5mm jack, a must
Good support for Apps... but i dont think i will install more than a very select few...
Should have all data connectivity options.
Web browsing and all should be a great experience.
Prefer if it can be connected to my mailboxes and IM's all the times...
Camera... acceptable qlty
Good looks, a very must.
If touch is an option then only capacitive please...
Battery life should be atleast a day

From what i want,alteast most from what i want, I have zeroed in only one phone... N86. The phone i wanted was SE W995... sooo good looking, but not a smart phone.

Any help will be appreciated.

dont buy n86 , its out of production now ,hmmm i wont be too much inclined for this phone but you can check sony ericsson aino , nice screen , good camera and music quality is good , ny friend just bought it and is satisfied else check samsung jet and some android phones too
 
Out of production. dunno, but seeing the number of new phones, must be. but its a good phone, r8?.

Aino is under 20k ???..

I loved Aino... but one garing ommission.. :( .. no 3.5mm jacks. thats dealbreaker for me.

I can even live with it NOT being a smart phone.

Its on the list yeas. Will check it out. but AFAIK Android platform is sub par at multimedia. so....

ya there is no 3.5 kack , they give bluetooth stereo head set and jack is in that , so that wont be a problem as their earphones are also good and if you interested , you can check in Univercell , they were giving REEbok kit worth 11k free with it , hmmm i guess its around 4-5k not 11k then also its free :eek:hyeah: and ya we bought it for 19.3k here in bangalore

you can check in ebay 2 ,you can use 1k coupon and get it for less
 
You know if you're interested in capacitive touch, you could get the X6. Pretty decent specs despite the mixed reviews and it works well. 5mp cam, 16gb memory (that version comes at just under 20k). Of course if you had some relative in the US you could get it. I don't believe it's released in India officially yet.
 
whoa!! Not a single phone that meets all his criterion..N86 comes very close, if you can live with the yester-year UI and QVGA screen..I'd still suggest a used iPhone 3G though it has a crappy 2MP camera..

I have really bad experience with samsung resistive touch screen.... but rest of the specs on that is just mind blowing...

but it got a QWERTY keypad... are u sure its 22k.. all inclusive??... if so i might just take a look... :)

Someone suggested that mate... but its too serious phone for me and multimedia takes a hit... thats kinda top prio for me.

Actually few of them just left this sun.. was here for easter.. :( ... dunno when one of them be along. so thats not possible.

I am very picky... else would have found something i presume. YEa.. thats the pblm with n86.. its kinda getting old. No used phones please.

Anyways... I am ready to spend upto 22k*faints* as it seems.. any other phone.. NOTHING MORE THAN THAT please..
