I don't think he's got screen burn

Changing to vivid has improved the colors, I always use it with eye comfort shield. Normal mode feels too bright even with brightness at lowest level.

With brightness that low how does an OLED wear out?

When AMOLED start dying colours fade away slowly . You can google it

I doubt there is any problem with the screen as black appears normal at bootup but takes on a magenta tinge after the OS loads
