Photon Plus v/s Reliance NetConnect v/s Airtel 3G stick

Hello guys,

sorry for hijacking the thread, but my relative wants a wireless connection for use in himachal and needs a cost effective one.

The basic use would be some what of skype and IM.

So which connection to go for and what plan?

IM would do with a basic 2G plan, like the RC98 plans.

In delhi, reliance GSM is hopeless. Atleast in my area. I am using the normal 2G of airtel. I realised that outside delhi, MTNL works better than airtel! But in Delhi, airtel is good.

I have Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ (Its is not 3G) 3.1Mbps. Very upset with it, Speed is less than 200 kbps sometimes 0 kbps frequet disconnections. Do not have any 3G plan of Reliance so cant comment. Reliance is bull#$%^.

umm, that is quite low, I'm getting 2Mbps speed.
