Pl Suggest games similar in gameplay to "Gears of War"

I started playing Xbox 360 games recently and I am mighty impressed with GOW. Please suggest games with similar play.

Simple...without too much controls....load... bam....cover....bam bam....move....with some smartass macho lingo...

but combat and fighting is Tomb Raider sucks big time. It isn't near to GoW in combat.

there is new game out called "the club" its a tps style game, suppsed to have great multiplayer. try it out n lemme know if its good then ill dload it.

wait for unreal tournament thats a killer game and would release on the xbox360 by feb end.

the Ps3 version is already available though.

halo 3 is fun too..

guitar hero III is another good game..

fifa 08, mass effect, burnout paradise too are amongst the most played games on XBL.

I have the legit version of Gears of War for PC, but it crashes every 5 min. So have not been able to do much.

Anyway if you like TPS games, try Infernal. Its on PC though.

Holy crap get Rainbow six Vegas. Now!! Its the gears of war cover system refined to a perfection. And its just a thing of beauty.

Even better in co op.

Did you try updating Games for Windows Live Redist Pack to the latest one?

I had a similar issue with Kane & Lynch Dead Men & it would crash after ever other cut scene.Someone at gamespot suggested to get the lastest version installed for GFW redist & guess what it worked.I guess the earlier version had a few bugs in them.Make sure you uninstall the earlier version before installing the latest one.Check if this work out.I have had this game & not even a single crash till date.Though there were ocassional stutters which was very common issue.

Coming back to the original topic.I suppose the gameplay style of GeOW was lifted from a game called Kill Switch.Check & see if that game is something which would fall in the similar category.Also Try Kane & Lynch Dead Men.Awesome game if you screw the negative reviews.Great storyline & awesome dialogue delivery.Though the graphics are not as mammoth as GeOW.

Vegas is more on the squad leading aspect.So just strike out the macho lingo option there. But overall the game is really good.Blind fire & cover system is well executed.Though it's an FPS mind you(ocassional TPS moments)& if you are not adjusted to the FPS games on the 360 then this one would be a bit tough to control.
