dude, i miss my pl11 (gone for rma, and prime is saying that they are out of replacement stock). Sincerely, have bought the JVC's and feel they are not living upto the hype.

My bad!

Not expecting this after almost 3 weeks searching, reviewing & bothering all

.......and that too at the stage of putting my hand and hopes on PL-11!!

after 1 week usages, i am happy owner. Though lacking in sound stage but overall SQ is ok. In highs, sometimes shrewdness observed in some songs. Also low notes not mixed well with mids sometime. But in this price, its VFM deal. Many of here may not be agree with me but I do not find even PL-11 at par with my SE W810i ear pair!! No offense but even I could not find Sansa+ sings as sweet as my SE W810i do the job since 2007!

all these low end ones be it PL11,JVC,EP630 are dirt cheap and therefore sound horrible and can harm anyone's taste in music. If one need an upgrade you must at least look into the $30 range. That will get you some decent pair of earbuds.

Currently the market is flooded with these cheap <$20 devices which lures the consumer in the price front but their is a huge performance difference jump in $20 to $30 iem than in any other range per say.

IMO,you should have gone for the pl30/pl21 at least or even looked into the m6/m9 range. It is just about finding the right deals.I just got my self a pair of m6 for $17 including shipping.

So it is better to wait for a deal rather than go for these cheap stock iem's.Also nowadays the market is flodded with fakes of the well known iem's in $20 range, hence more reason to avoid it.

p>S:I wish i would have posted this before you made the purchase but one learns with experience and yes the SE pairs are one to hold on too

Any experience/observation of JVC MM on above compartments

well marshmallows over priced even at 50 bucks, i got them from prestinenote n they were the most horrible set or IEM i ever came across, they where very harsh n had no bass, i couldn't stand their harshness for even 10 mins straight, never would recommend them to any one, they still give me nightmares

bro may be your initial impressions are making you say that. i felt the same, but a sufficient amount of burn in and these earphones will show improvements.
