Planning a Trip to Vegas, Grand Canyon or NY. Advices?

So guys. This is the plan that we have. 5 days. Nov last week.
We either plan to fly to Los Angeles and then drive to Vegas and Grand canyon
Or Fly to Vegas and drive to Grand canyon. No LA.
Please give your thoughts and places to see in all places. Can we spend 2 days in LA, 2 in Vegas and 1 in Canyon. And see the most iconic things? Dont want to go extensive, neither are we interested in parks.
Did a 4 day park marathon 3 months back. Universal and Disney.Orlando.

Canyon west rim I believe is nearer to las Vegas than south rim. I had done south rim.
West rim has that sky walk thingy which I believe most people claim to just ok especially for the steep entry fee.
May be I can suggest
Fly day 1 early to Vegas
See Vegas in day (hotels from inside) and night on day 1
Day 2 go to GC and back and expect you won't be able to do anything else.
Day 3 see Vegas more and leave by late afternoon to LA.
Day 4 entire day LA
Day 5 LA till time permits and then take flight back to east coast ( I believe that is your start point).
Do take in consideration flight time for back home since even if you plan a late flight from LA of say 7 Pm it is already 10 PM in east coast.

All done and came back last Tuesday morning.....
I hope you did not pickup those flyers from the road side newspaper dispenser type boxes and called those numbers
Any show you watched ? I had watched Cirque-De-Solil Mystere at Treasure Island (IIRC).
Grand Canyon in Bus or own vehicle? South rim or West rim ? Our van driver took us to Route 66 as well (on which the movie CARS was based).
. Just the Aquarium. Other than that casinos, clubs etc.- Status
