Planning To Take Airtel To Consumer Court.. Anybody Else in ?

I do understand that i am not the only one and yes many of the members from here wd have experienced the same as well, but what really does consumes my attention is that why nobody has bothered to go strict with these morons..?

I surely am not counting people of prev generation to be doing anything regarding this.

We all consider ourselves well informed if not smartasses.. then why the inaction on this front ..?

For how long are we going to allow these companies to cock a snook at us and keep taking our money for no reason ..?

If i ask all the effected members to start donating 10 Rs per month for some charity instead of the 30/- i am sure not even a fifth of those would be interested. But when this sort of stupid thing happens, not too many are bothered to even call the CCR back.

Idea is best of all if are counting on quality of services and customer support
 
Atleast in Bangalore, Docomo is a very good option with good coverage and EXCELLENT customer support.
 
I refuse to believe that there is some megalomaniac in each of the companies trying to steal money by activating VAS randomly, however I also agree that the occurrence is quite high to be brushed off for coincidence.

Is there no telecoms guy here who can shed more light on this?

Good thing u did not took airtel BB . don't take it they are giving half speed compared to other ISP in Delhi at same price >.<
 
I use Vodafone and never faced any problem like this.

But I use Airtel for GPRS and Reliance GSM for Night Talking. I faced this problem with Reliance. Once they had activated CT to my number. I called up CC and said how can this happen, only I use the SIM and that too on Night, the SIM is switched off all the day long and they cut my call. I tried calling them up again and again and they keep disconnecting after hearing everything. I god fed-up and forgot my money and deactivated the service. After that I keep no more than Rs. 5/- as my balance. That time I saved my balance for some months and it got to Rs 50/-
 
airtel sucks i have faced similar probs with them and those bloody guyz have eaten more than 300 bucks of mine but i didn't do anything and only threw the sim
