CPU/Mobo Planning to upgrade Desktop

Hi all,
I am planning to upgrade my MB and CPU of my Desktop.
Have Sound card (ASUS xonar essence) and Graphics cards(ATI RAdeon HD 4770) pretty good ones.

Looking for Intel based system with 2 cores.
Plan to run windows XP.

Please suggest the CPU and matching MB models from good brands. Is it possible to get it done below 10K?

Get an Intel Dual Core E5700 E5800 E6600.. approx. between 3-3.5K

You could pair it with Gigabyte G41M-T S2P DDR3 Mobo sells for around 2.5K
