Play store promocode

I have received a promocode for an application to get it from google playstore. But, When I visit playstore via mobile/desktop, there is no field to enter promo code. I searched on net also, but went nowhere.

Now, is there anything as play store promocode?:unsure: If yes, how to use them?

If anyone is aware of such thing kindly throw some light.

Could it be when you use google checkout?

I complted one cycle of purchase of the app, but it never asked for promocode. I asked for the refund immediately.

Are you sure the source of that promo code is genuine?

AFAIK, another chap got the same offer and he got the credit. But dunno if he got same offer as yours.
