There you go :p

Well, I did mistakes and I wont wish others too do the same... :)

In one case, I was lucky that I didnt got my jaw broken (face was badly injured).. but wont wish anyone else have a same experience. :)

My 16 years old cousin is also fantasiced about my bullet and sometimes do makes short rides on it, but I made him clear that dont hope to get any biggies before you get 18-19

By the time you understand the imporance of riding rules/safety/gear. Atleast you get a helmet :p

@OP

Please dont drive/ride a geared vehicle untill you are 18 and have a proper Driving License . It really does not matter how long you have been riding those. Laws are framed for a reason. And no matter how careful you are while driving,This is India, and dangers are always lurking around the corner.

On a lighter note, If you stll decide to go for the bike on your 18th B'day , do inform me in advance,If you plan on driving it around west Delhi: Pedestrian safety first!

yeah you are right in your way no doubt.but my parents are against cbr only (just because they think it is not FIT for me) they are pretty much cool with anything like a fz p220 or apache 180

i bought my first bike when i was 17, and i dint even know how to ride a bike. I learned on it. But it was very cool of my parents to let me have a pulsar 150. I did do a lotta stupidity in my early biking years. And understand now that, although my parents were sweet enough to buy me a bike so early and that too something that guys around me envied (back when 17, now 24 :p), i at that age or anybody at this age will not be mature enough to understand how a bike is to be respectfully handled. Yes back then riding at 80km/h in rains on a kuccha road was adrenaline, but now 80km/h is a strict no no on such roads, forget rains!

More than the size of the engine and bike, what you must understand is that parents trust you enough and will always look out for your happiness, but care at the same time. You can have your fun, but you must know what is safe and what is not. When you think your ready to ride with that amount of maturity, feel free to buy whateva you want.

Whateva you buy, remember to always wear a helmet (safety reasons + U'll stay safe from Cops :D), ride responsibly and have fun when the road demands you to have it. Make your parents understand that this is not a very fast bike, its just a quality ride and so the premium price. Tell them that its slower than a P220. I'll feel better too. :p

I once rode a proper 650cc Ninja which belong to a friend in degree college. I was scared to death. I had very little experience riding bikes then. I rode it for about 500 meters and decided I wouldn't risk my life and more importantly dad's money if i fell off the bike. I handed it over to my friend. I have admired sports bikes from a distance since then.

Lol.. i drive an Alto here and got handed over a Corvette in Vegas XD Scared out of my wits but damn that experience was amazing !

okay to the OP , dude.. get a Pulsar / any other NORMAL bike. You really don't need a 250 right now nor will it be economical, safe , legal. If you're planning to impress the girls then the only ones who matter won't care about the bike :)
