Budget 31-40k Please review my first build before I go and shop for my parts.

My main purpose of this build is reliability for my programming projects (android dev) and some gaming to relax (I love the Ghost Recon series, Frostpunk, and Valo).

I was using a 2016 HP. i5-6200u, 2-core processor, with 940M Nvidia 2 GB graphics. It can't run the emulator in Android dev. A new good laptop would have been nice but the unreliability of this machine for heavy tasks has frustrated me a lot, so I decided to build a tower, due to budget constraints. I don't want to buy a graphics card right away but I think a used 2060 would suffice my gaming needs. I made a Ryzen 5600g build, but it's DDR4. Massive speed gains and future-proofing made me switch to DDR5.

this is my DDR5 build.

CPU: Intel i5-12400 14k

Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M Gaming Motherboard 11k

RAM: Crucial DDR5 16GB 4800Mhz 3.5k

Cabinet Ant Esports Elite 1000 2.3k

PSU: Cooler Master MWE 550W V2 3.8k

Total:34.6k

I will use the Samsung 870 EVO I have on my laptop. I would buy a used Rtx 2060 (for 10-13k) and a new sn580 WD Blue 1TB for storage later when I save some more. If you have any suggestions please comment. Should I buy a 5600g build?
 
If future proofing is important to you then I don't think you'd be able to go very far with this motherboard. You could consider an AM5 Ryzen 5 7600 build. The only component of this you can carry forward is the RAM, which for 3.5k should not be a big factor in my opinion.
 
I agree with @chetan99 with respect to MB. Also, i'd get a MB with Nvme support if thats within the budget, putting nvme drive is one of the best ways to generallly speed up your system. Choice for gpu is good, plenty of used gear. All the best
 
Used RX 6600 is 11-13k, get that over 2060.

DDR5 4800MHz is mostly not worth the premium over common DDR4. Spend 5k on a 6000MHz CL36 stick. Add a 2nd one later, but then again, with i5 12400 + 6600, you will see very small fps uplift, might not even be 5% on average, so maybe just settle for DDR4 mobo & 2x 16GB DDR4 3200MHz sticks. Your expectations from DDR5 are misplaced IMO, I doubt even productivity apps have a big difference, but I might be wrong.

My cabinet recommendation will be Deepcool Matrexx 40 3FS for 3.5k.

I need the CUDA cores of Nvidia. Yes I think it's best I stick with DDR4 and go with a ryzen build. Why do you recommend this cabinet?

Better airflow & Deepcool is considered to have better quality than Antec. 3 pre-installed fans vs 1 also helps. No need to buy additional fans in future.

R5 5600 lacks iGPU & 5600G is an inferior CPU to 5600.
 
You should look at a better case, Cooler master has good ones, and I have a soft spot for Lian Li. On the topic of an AMD build, I think you could go for a R5 5600x with a cheap B550 motherboard.
 
Imo, get a new budget B550/A620 board + used 2*16 gigs of DDR4 3200/3600 + used 5700X if you can find it, or the cheapest new one off pcpricetracker.in.

Resulting system is not future-proof at all and you will need to upgrade everything when you want to go up in CPU perf. But you won't need to do that for many years. It will be more than enough for your dev needs, and it won't bottleneck something twice as fast the RTX 2060. Future-proofing is a bit of meme anyway and not really practical to optimize for at your price point.
