Can someone recommend one?

Also, will normal coffee powder be needed or will I need specialized stuff for the coffee machine?
I need to make only 1 cup of coffee at a time. :ohyeah:

Any suggestions on model/price/etc.?

Check out Black & Decker, Morphy Richards & Philips.
If interested in Indian brands, look for Equity, Enalsa, Bajaj, etc.

Should cost ~1-2k.

Normal coffee powder, granules, or beans would do well.

Philips has some great models.... Check them out at any Croma outlet....

BTW, the best Coffee Maker for a Bachelor would be a loving Girlfriend/Wife.....!!! Lolzzz :P

^^ Seems decent enough..... But I think u'll be able to get a Philips model for cheaper or same price....

And Philips is definitely better quality than MR.

I guess that Morphy-Richards models serves ~10! You need less than half of that!
Select some other model, one which serves 2. Should come < 1.5k

one more thing, will the black & decker machine make black coffee only or can I add milk to it as well?

Anybody got a easy how-to-recipe for a coffee-maker Virgin like me? :D

@OP

Why do you need Coffee maker for Nescafe? Nescafe is an instant coffee variety. For that anything to heat water is sufficient - maybe gas stove, microwave, electric kettle etc.

You need coffee maker for brewing coffee from coffee powder - more commonly called Filter coffee in South India. You buy such coffee powders from supermarkets or Indian Coffee house outlets.

Thanks for sharing the link dude

I was completely unaware of the real coffee .

Till now i felt that instant coffee powder (nescafe) is the made from real crushed beans

how would he become a bachelor if he has a wife? :S

otoh, why invest so much for just a cup of coffee or two? don't like taste of nescafe/ sunrise instant coffee?

I got the 1 cup black & decker

The reason I wanted it because nescafe/ sunrise instant coffee tastes like CR@P!

I hope this machine makes better coffee!

i'll probably start with buying powder through cafe coffee day.

I hope this 1K investment leads to better coffee than the instant nescafe cr@p!
