Forum Feedback Please suggest designs for the TE tshirt

Last time people complained that the TE tshirt was too plain. Its better that we discuss the expected design here first before we get the samples done for us to see. If you guys have any recommendations or suggestions then please post here. We can look at other designs and improvise if required.

If you can design something then even better. The winning design can get a set of 2 free tshirts too.

Here's my suggestion:

Solid coloured T-Shirt, I prefer White. TE Logo on the Chest left side.

The back should have the slogan "Always a G33K!".

Have attached a template. The TE logo on the chest needs to be just the logo and the 'Grey Matters Here' line without the background. I couldn't do it as I didn't have a vector of the TE Logo nor the skills required to create one!

The font for the back slogan is Gabriola. Also, the place of the Logo and the Slogan may be interchanged i.e. Logo at the back and slogan on the chest.

I prefer plain too rather then some jazzy design. Check if we gen can get any Polo Tee designs too...

I have a couple of concepts in mind. Not sure if my design skills will do justice to it though. Will post it anyway for feedback in this thread sometime this weekend.

Okk... I am a bit confused..

When I click on the votes, I can see that Saiyan has voted for both the minimalist and the jazzy T-Shirts!!

I guess it is some bug...

EDIT: I can see that he has also voted for both round as well as polo necks!! So, now I am guessing that it is an Admin privilege!! Hope I don't get a warning!!

I simple polo tshirt looks very professional and classic.

he front should just have the te logo and no name. The back should have the name with the caption "Grey matters here"... Or if guys can think of something else for the back I am all in but the front has to the small te logo (no name) so that it looks like some brand

Front : Plain - TE logo below chest ,coz print on chest is too comman ...

+ One vertical Strip (red/blue) if the Tshirt is black

Rear: maximum two lines

Techenclave written on the back. A big sole logo.

Front can be plain or better still some graphic covering 25% or 30% of the front. Pic can (should?) be something geeky like a pair of nerd glasses, an integrated circuit which has been pimped up (colourful and arty), or some geeky slogan.

Please no techenclave written on the front, chest or centred. People might ask us what brand we sell and where our stall is.

But written in the bottom can look good. Bottom corner, vertical or horizontal. This can be with a picture too as it won't be coming in its way.

This is neat. Just replace geek thing with Grey matters here. Why not keep both Polo & Round options?

^^ But that would cause 'Grey Matters Here" to appear both at the front (under the logo) and at the back. If we want it just at the back, the logo up front would have to be plain without the slogan.

Plus, only TE people will understand the meaning of Grey Matters Here... wait, in fact, even some members on TE won't understand what it means!!

Something plain and in solids with small to medium logo will do fine.

#Being.smart and #Mephistopheles : Not everyone believes in keeping his t shirt outside. Some prefer tucking it in. If that were the case, the TE name in both your designs would go kaput!

Also, Being.smart's design would only have techencl visible once the tee is tucked in!

Ok some of the designs that I worked on. I like the last USB design the most as it is techie oriented without going overboard.

Lets hope we will be able to come up with the suggestions by tomorrow evening. Post which we can have a poll to finalize a design. The best design by then would go for printing.
