Hi guys im looking for a a pair of in earphones within 2k, so looking for suggestions. I am looking for something that is adequately good for all types of music, i am not a basshead but but dont want something that is dull either. I presently am looking at Soundmagic E10(theitdepot.com is selling them for 1930+ shipping) so pour in your suggestions
<
, also mention where i can get them from, buying locally from kolkata is 1st preference then online, thanks in advance.

going by the reviews, i think the e10 would be a solid choice..your other option would be brainwavz m1 but those are quite hard ro drive.you will need a good player to get the full potential out of them..whats your source? i would anyday get an e10 since soundmagic products sound really good atleast as good as iems that are twice their price, just my 2 cents .

Brainwavz m1 are hard to drive

, i though they were one of the easiest to drive earphones.

wat iems do use? m1 ? m1 has an impedence of 40 ohms...thats pretty high...soundmagics have an impedance of 12 to 15 ohms...there's your answer

****m1 has an impedance of 32 ohms.....my bad...still very high though compared to e10

32 ohm is not hard to drive , in comparision to e10 it maybe harder to drive but even my Galaxy 3 , Sansa Clip + , Ipod touch could drive them to their fullest. I had a m1 i sold it . So telling from my experience itself.

Go for the BRAINWAVZ M1 very fun sounding earphones as well as the sound detailing on these is solid [compared to my SoundMAGIC PL 30], the bass is good [doesn't overwhelm other instruments OR the vocals], vocals are probably my favorite about this [listening to Roseta Stoned -- Tool] and the strings are well represented too..

Else for a branded ear-phone go for the Sennheiser CX 180, it has supporters here, although I have not used them personally. Also sound is speculative, what you I like from music is not what you want, so take all this advice with a pinch of salt.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!

Yeah at that budget i would suggest you to buy either a CX-180 or Brainwavz m1 , CX-180 is more bass oriented and fun sounding too , vocals throw are not phenomenal but not something which you will whine about , I personally liked the CX-180 more although the Brainwavz m1 were slightly better in sound detailing.

Call me old-fashioned, old-school, ancient alien...whatever. But I think EP-630 by Creative was the one of the best set of earphones I have used in my entire life. And guess what! The damage to the pocket was a mere Rs. 600!

In my humblest of opinions, I feel that buying 'budget' headphones/earphones is as pointless as fasting for corruption. Fine, you'll get some results, you'll feel good about yourself, but after a point, you'll be like, "Damn. I should have gone for NR/NC Headphones".

I own M1

I suggest you to go with Brainwavz alpha pro instead of M1; they are lighter to drive , more bass and more fun to listen.
