A: 10k

2. Preferred display size, type and resolution?
A: 5", IPS LCD, FHD and above

3. Preferred operating system? (Android (with version), iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Android Kitkat to Lollipop (5.x) and above

4. Preferred connectivity options? (4G, 3G, 2G etc).
A: 4G (Should support Reliance JIO VoLTE) would be an added advantage

5. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: I like Samsung as it have good service network/spare availability.

6. What is your intended use for this phone (internet, camera, multimedia, mails etc.)?
A: Camera, Music and Internet

7. Single SIM/ Dual SIM?
A: Dual SIM

8. New or Used? Online or Offline?
A: New. Don’t mind buying online

9. Any other requirements?
A: Need good battery backup, microSD card slot if internal storage < 32GB

10. If you have already considered a phone, then please mention the model
A: Samsung Galaxy J3, Coolpad Note 3 Lite

For now, this means qualcom chipset

VoLTE supported Android mobiles

Android phones with following Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor would come under VoLTE support list: 400, 410 412, 415, 430, 615, 616, 617, 618,620, 650, 652, 800, 801, 805, 808, 810 and 820. Be sure your VoLTE supported 4G mobile is on Android 5.1 as it offers customized settings for VoLTE.

No J3 in that list. J3 has a spreadtrum cpu. not qualcom.

Starts with J5 which has SD 410

Take a look at the supported devices in that link and make a shortlist.

forget budget for now. find a device that fits your requirements.

Samsung ON5 & ON7 Both Supports VoLTE

Was almost zerod on Samsung J3 as it supports more LTE Bands + Amoled Screen (but No information on VoLTE), and after going through your post about AMOLED screen fact I'm in dilemma...

That post about AMOLED is more for flagships that one will keep for more than two years.

Applies less to entry level devices that you will be bored with after one year.

The person who wish to have AMOLED handset is NOT in Gaming nor in Apps etc. (not much), will This Samsung J3 Amoled will last for 4-5 years?

I drop the idea to go with J3 as it don't include Network Band 2300 (Band 40), it means it wont support Reliance JIO Services.
