I've got the same laptop as you - 80E3GYIN
I didn't get any certificate when I extended my warranty.
I bought an 8GB 1.35v 1600mhz RAM stick and it worked perfectly alongside the existing 4GB stick. I've since given the 4GB stick away, and am using only the 8GB one.
