guys I'VE DECIDED ON THIS system its details are::-

amd x2 4400/4600

msi k9agm2-fih

kingston 1gb ddr2

viewsonic Vg1930WM

creative soundblaster 5.1

SMPS : coolermaster 380w

160 gb SATA-II seagate or WD

liteon pata dvd writer

MAX BUDGET=35K

MY QUERY IS WHETHER K9AGM2-FIH WUD BE ABLE TO SUPPORT 19"LCDAT DECENT RESOLUTION (MENTIONED ABOVE)

ALSO COMMENT ON ASUS M2A-VM HDMI, IT HAS ALL THE FEATURES BUT I'VE HEARD SOME PROBLEM IS GOIN ON WID DIS MOBO RELATED TO MEMORY OR OTHERS. DON'T WANT TO GO 4 JETWAY MOBO. ALSO, IS THERE TOO MUCH DIFF. BET 17" AND 19" LCD IN VIEWING. THANX IN ADVANCE.

Yes

Both of them are equally good and equally crappy at OC'in

IS THERE TOO MUCH DIFF. BET 17" AND 19" LCD BY VIEWING

Yep, there is

Other Suggestions :

1. Get 2x1GB Ram

2. Get a bigger HDD

3. You chose a good SMPS :p

4. Instead of the LiteOn DVD Writer, get the LGH42N, much better burn quality

5. Make sure you get a brisbane core CPU

6. If you are not going Jetway style cause you think MSI and ASUS sales service is better, you are in for a BIG surprise

7. Even small caps are readable

THANX IN ADVANCE.

You are welcome :p

thnx deepak ur other posts and this one has helped me to learn a lot regarding computer hardware selection.

thru ur early posts i am already aware of msi and asus aftersales wonders(joking). i am more keen to go 4 asus m2avm-hdmi board, but as i've mentioned in my early post, thru website i've come 2 know about some problem goin wid dis board (newgen.com). please clarify.
