Hi guys,

Pls recommend me a laptop under 40K.

Primary requirements :

Internet, Movies (including HD), Occasional Photoshop and few medium level Games.

Preferring 17" and 9 cell battery if the difference is not too much.

My usage will be heavy because I don't have a desktop with me. I am currently using HP dv6767tx since 3yrs and tired now due to extremely low battery life, heating issues, Writer problems and some other motherboard problems hence not interested in HP anymore.

Thanks..!

dude..17"+9 cell is not possible...you will have to adjust somewhere !!

and with this config...you won't have a good gfx card for gaming....max you will have Intel HD..!!

Rather go for New Dell Inspiron 15R and configure it for 9 cell + GT 525 ....along with I3 2nd generation...will come around 39K !!

Ok 17" is not that big of an issue. I would prefer a good GPU + 9 Cell Battery.

So what do we have for 15" range.

I would request ppl to post something other than Dell, not that I hate Dell. Its just that getting Dell will be my last resort.

Any good Lenovo/Asus or other brands along with respective Model Nos.?

The above ones are Sandy Bridge Proccys right..?

Also I was wondering about the After sales service of Asus. I heard its a pain ?
Any suggestions on that..?

Also I visited Vijay Sales few days back and saw a whole range of Lenovo Laptops. I didn't have time to compare the specs with prices etc. So I took the pictures of the specs along with prices. But prior to that do we have any good Lenovo Models in mind ?

Try Acer Aspire 5750G with I5-2410, 4GB ddr3, 500GB SATA, GT 540 1GB, 15.6"

Its coming around for Rs 39400/- at vijay sales i suppose and without OS might come to 37.5K...how is the deal guys?
