plz help me upgrade iXtreme 1.6 to LT

Hi

My xbox 360 Liteon 74850C drive is flashed with iXtreme 1.6
i have the xtracted dvd keys that were obtained the 1st time.
now i want to upgrade to LT.
The things that i know :
1>Flash to stock from 1.6
2>Install latest system updates for 360
3>Flash with LT.

Things on which i NEED HELP :
1>Do i need a CK3 kit?
2>how do i flash from 1.6 to stock & then back to LT?
3>dont have a VIA card.have onboard sata ports on MSI P55 GD80.

some1 plz help me flash the drive.

atlast upgraded to iXtreme LT.
it wasnt that hard as i had thought.after 4-5 wrong attempts i got it rt at last.

I used a Normal ICH8 SATA controller to flash a LiteON to iXtreme 1.5.

^^^ guys i've already updated my drive to LT (which i mentioned in my 1st post).didnt need a VIA card.onboard ICH 10R controller was enuf.

^^^did you have to disable ur sata drivers like ur supposed to do for VIA according to jungleflasher ??

1) no need of ck3 kit, use your xbox 360 as the power source.
2) now check your correct i/0 port at jungleflasher.
3) go to dvdkey 32 tab and do the half open tray method and click on dummy from ixtreme, save the dummy.bin file.
4) now go to firmware tool 32 tab and load the dummy.bin as source and your corresponding Lt firmware as target.
5) now go to MTK Flash 32 tab and click on Lite-on erase, click yes and then again yes and then power cycle your drive only once. your drive should now be in vendor mode with good flash chip property and status 0x72.
6) Dont worry if your liteon erase fails, if it fails than click on intro/device ID and now your drive should be in vendor mode and now click on write to write firmware and your LT firmware will be done.

Check my jungleflasher log as I flashed mine today successfully.
